What
is Batch URL?
Batch URL is a service which allows you to retrieve files and/or
web pages from remote sites to ftp.u-net.com without you being
online the whole time!
What use is that?
Well the remote site may be slow, and/or you may want a large
file.. so it will be much faster to ask our systems to retrieve
the file for you and then just log on an hour later or whatever
and retrieve the file quickly from our ftp server - ftp://ftp.u-net.com/local/batchftp/
How
does it work?
You fill in the full path of the file/page to be retrieved (e.g.
http://www.u-net.com) and then say what you want the filename
to be when its put into the local/batchftp directory, e.g.. unethome.txt
The
file will be downloaded for you, you can logoff whilst that happens,
logon later and the file should be waiting for you to ftp from
ftp.u-net.com.

BatchURL can email you when your download is ready!
